SMART (Society for Marketing of Artisans and Rutal
Things) is leading exporters of handerafted leather footwear and for domestic
market. SMART is promoting handerafted footwear under its own brand name
MOJARI,
the only big brant name in handerafted
footwear promoted on prime channels of print and electronic media. Established
in 2003 as a joint intervention of UNDP and FDDI (Footwear Design and
Development Institute, Govt. of India), SMART is engaged in the promotion of ethnic
products in India and abroad as it is a non profit making body purely for the
promotion of artisans and their craft. Govt. of India thru SMART provide platform to artisans for promoting their craft and skills by improving product and production through training of standardization, designing and free of cost distribution of local inputs. SMART persist in carrying out the policy of "Client and Quality First". We emphasize scientific management, technical progress quality control, Creativity, high comfort level, efficiency and complete customer satisfaction by witch we have won the trust of our clients both home and abroad. The Society is supplying the products at very low cost as if does not charge any profit and establishment expenses. it is the cost of leather and the price pay to artisans, which is demanded from the buyers. The society is sustaining itself as it is getting grant from the Govt. of India to promote these products and to purchase certain critical inputs, which are being distributed to the artisans free of cost. The costs of these materials and other inputs have not been put into the costing. Govt. is also funding for design innovations, advertisements and other promotional activities. Due to this support of Govt. the "Mojari" which cost 15-16 USD are being sold at much lower prices. As the demands of our product have grown over the past few years, we have correspondingly upgraded and extended our manufacturing capabilities by support of Govt. of India. Mojari is only handerafted footwear that is so comfortable, trendy, available in latest designs, using natural leather non-hazardous to health, maintaining high technological standards of quality control guarantee the high quality and accuracy of all the components. For "Mojari" production we are using high quality material to avoid any type of skin allergy more importantly we good cushions in safe and high quality material on top and back for best of foot comfort using to avoid any itching feeling to wearer. This is the main reason Mojari has high repeat value and people love to wear again and again. |
